I fished a private estate in Sussex last weekend with Koi up to 36lb. Using my same tactics of fishing I put two rods into this water. One was the old faithful chod rig and the other a simple bolt rig set, both produced the fish instantly with no pre-baiting.
I had 12 carp in all with a few of the larger residents all carp were caught on the same bait I have been fishing with in Redlands & Southlake.
It was my birthday on this day and I celebrated it with catching this massive gold fish! Strange looking carp, but a carp never the less I had a great day again fishing with Ocean Fresh baits.
