| My fishing buddies....... |
Ian one of our friends that had put in for the bait had managed a nice mirror before the start of the season on Redlands, 24lb and some bits. Ian was happy because he had had his first twenty. |
|
Ian was also on Ocean Fresh baits and got some nice results! |
|
I like Ian so I thought I would stick this one in as well….. Sorry mate but what a face. |
|
The following weekend Ian had done it again with a known old fish called Crinkle tail. 30lb+ |
|
The weather got colder and the G man ventured out, claiming he preferred winter fishing (Nothing to do with the summer and girls and beer being single).
Regardless he was catching them. |
|
Just Short of 30lb, A little tipsy I think G. Well it was Mark’s and my birthday.
Ian caught another fish; we named it Ian the Common, another story. |
"19lb and Bits" |
Then Russell who was due to leave to live in OZ was on his last session caught this twenty. |
|
The weather got colder and G was out again. |

“30.4lb of January mirror, well done mate “
|
All the fish were caught either OF RS&G or Oily Crab.
I did venture onto the river with Mark for a couple of nights. Mark was convinced there would be no carp in there; he just couldn’t see it I would have to show him. Well as it turned out Mark showed me, I blanked on both nights Mark did not. |

“ Look a bream, nice one mark!!!!!!!!! “ |

“ 19lb, nice.“ |
Then a nice barbell on a carp set up, they too loved OF baits! |

“ Just under 10lb I think. “ |

“ 14lb river scrapper. “ |
Mark was well happy and bugged me quite often to go down the river again, these were not as big but defiantly easier to catch.
Oh one last thing beware this man, he travels abroad a bit and was last seen in Holland…… in his PANTS |
|
Till next time tight lines.
