New, Dutch Ocean Fresheeeeee

2,5 kilos of BBQ....

I decided to take 2.5 kilos of ocean fresh sardine and oyster in 15mm to a tricky little day ticket lake near me called stream valley I got there around 12 I picked a swim at one end of the lake as the wind was blowing that way. The first thing I did was put out 100 baits in 3 nice little spots and set up the rest of my stuff. Now I do know a little about this lake and my approach was pretty simple. I opted for a 7 inch hair rig with a boilie and a bit of fake corn this running up to a offloading inline lead and about 700mm of tubing.

I fished 2 rods in a small swim the day was slow but I kept busy baiting a couple of spots in the margin as the night came in I moved both rods on these spots I could see fish bubbling so I put 100 more baits on each and went back to my swim at 10pm I had a 17lb mirror and at 2am I am unhappy to report I lost one. The next morning everything was very quiet and that was pretty much how it stayed two guys had done the day and night as well and blanked using the stream valley bait so knowing ocean fresh has never been in the lake before I think this was a good start I would like to say thanks to ocean fresh for taking me on its going to go very well, till next time
