I spent a week on Brooklands in Dartford part of the d.d.a.p.s lakes. I did not get the BBQ oyster from them until the Wednesday morning when Amy got it to me on the lake. The swim I was fishing had been primed with hemp corn and vitalin. I had 4 bream on Monday and Tuesday to 10 and half pounds. I introduced the new ocean fresh carp bait as soon as I got it with pva bags. 10 baits to each of the spots I was fishing. I didn’t expect to get a fish so soon on a new bait but I did, not the biggest in this lake but a very welcome break from the bream. The weather was overcast with thunderstorms and lightening for most of the week lots of rain.
I use 12ft free spirit rods 10000xte reels and 12lb x-line my rigs have a slight mod to standard and I’d like to keep that to myself for now hope you don’t mind. Unfortunately I only had the one carp to go with the seven bream and the guy that took the picks can’t take photos to save his life. I must say thanks for giving me the field tester position and I hope you enjoy all the pictures I will be sending you. I am after one carp called the unknown it is a common that lives in the Sutton lake and I’m sure I will catch it with this bait, I’m very impressed with.
