Fieldtesting BBQ Sardine & Oyster for Barbell on Tidal River Trent
All fish caught using field testing bait sardine and oyster, each individual fish caught off the tidal river Trent, off four different pegs on four different fishing sessions.
My view on this bait suggests it’s very good running water bait because of its long lasting powerful scent. I purposely fished two 15mm boilies hair rigged on my bottom swim rod for lengths of up to 6hrs to see how the boilie washes out.
The results indicate a very strong leakage of flavour over a great period of time. Not forgetting that they are being fished on a very unpredictable tidal Trent River.
I would greatly look forward to field test some of your other Ocean Fresh flavoured carp/ barbell baits in the near future.
