| Returning to my French water….. |
| Fished the week of the 23e till to the 30e. When I arrived at my booked swim I quickly set up base camp and watch the water for action. I had seen already a few jumping fish and a good feeling about this weeks fishing. The fishing rods were all out with in a hour and I had found three different depths to place my baits along. The left fishing rod I hair rigged to half 18mm Oily Crab boilies back to back and uses a boat to feed that spot with little disruption to the water. I fed with whole Oily Crab boilies and 22mm pellets. The middle fishing rod was placed at a depth of approximately 4 meters with a pva bag with in that the new Green Lipped Mussel boilie I placed with crumbed boilies and the GLM liquid food. The hair is of 2 pieces 18mm GLM boilies inside the bags of crumbs. The right fishing rod lay in 3 meters of water, with a single GLM boilie, pva bag method mix and the amino. Time to relax and lay back now all rods are in position and fishing 13.45 and the screams frightens me awake the right fishing rod is away! Yet half sleeping sprint I get out of the tent and 2 minutes later on realize that the first fish of the session I’m drilling. Ten minutes later on lay the result on the mat, an strong mirror of 11.4kg UK25lb. On the new GLM as well! |

It is the first time that I come here with this new boilie and already I am pleased with it. Previously all my big captures on this water has been on Oily Crab which is already good, but this goes well very fast! Three quarter of an hour later on middle optonic begins to squeak and after a long drill comes there a long mirror above of 11.9 kilo. Round half five a screaming run on my judge fishing rod That lay again on the same spot, and on the same manner with the bag, the mix and the Mussel glug. The third fish of the day, 17.6kg UK38.7lb gladly was mine! |

The trick with the bag works! That week I landed 24 fish, of which 8 fish above the 30 pounds, and as a bonus a tench on 2 of pieces 18mm boilies! With this session in my back of the head, I work again closed to the next session of 10 till 18 June that states planned with the men of "carp store" from cattle valley.
Thursday night left for a delicious long week. Round 06.30 arrived, had no lines, to find around my margin edge and you my electric boat and depth finder to find my hot spots I caught the fish in April so productive they were and naturally baited up each rod with pva bags of half boilies and big pellets. The boilies this time had been soaked in the amino and were oozing that lovely Oily Crab flavour. Yet before I could lie on my stretcher I was in on a "snowman" Oily Crab. The bell of the scale indicated precise 10.00 hour. A common of 10.7kg UK23.5lb was the result. The first day really a top day was. I had 11 runs and landed 9 fish on the deep slope.
The second day I landed only one carp.
Day three I had two fish on the sharp drop off, one a beautiful mirror of just 15kg UK33lb. The other 14.9kg UK32.7lb. |

Day four was good for 4 fish. What struck was that I on double boilies and even on a hair with a threesome boilies almost only the a little smaller specimens on rods I get. The trick with the bag, pellets and the glug worked surely, but where remain the thicker fish? The width of the water is very large, and big fish are swimming around. For the joke only once a combination of Oily Crab, GLM and Tutti Megafish I tried all in one bag and I day five I had a flyer and landed a 14.1 kilos mirror! |

At the end of the afternoon, I got a back drop on a double Tutti Megafish boilie. Strange drill, the fish was so all over the lake because it turned out to be a mirror of 8.81 kilo. OK change of rig, with this new rig I extended the hair and placed 4 GLM boilies on it. At 19.30 hour, I received one single squeak on the middle fishing rod with the 4 18mm boilies on the hair…What do you in such case? Do you hit it or wait, thankfully a few seconds later the buzzer came to life with little squeak and I watched the swinger slowly rise to the top. The bait runner didn’t even need to do its job. I picked the rod up and was immediately bent into a heavy lump. She took me straight to an unknown snag and the rod and line locked up, with relief there was a boat available for such matters and I was soon in it in the middle of the lake trying to get this fish back on the move again. Once over the top of the fish the line became free and I brought the carp into the boat nearly capsizing it at the same time. Back on the bank the scale went 23.1kg UK50.8lb My new PB! |

Day six yielded in totally five fish, but the fishing rod with the 4 boilies remained quiet. Round 09.15 hour I got a flyer on a single boilie, again a beautiful mirror, now 17.7kg UK38.9lb.
On the last day I counted the weeks total at 36 fish with as largest of that day 15.25 kilos. The last day as I decided instead of packing up early I would fish and do it late. It was a good decision as immediately after re baiting my rods I had another mirror of 17.6kg on the mat…. |

"17,6kg 38.7lb" |
The 4 boilie middle rod was off again this same day with another fat fish of 19.8kg UK43.5lb! |

| What a super week this was! The Oily Crab, Green Lipped Mussel and the Tutti Megafish did the business!! The most perfect presentations in my eyes is the combination of these taste boilie with the fluid glug in a pva bag. The carp find the bag very delicious!!! I having been fishing with Ocean Fresh for one full year now and have beaten my personal best twice and landed 20 carp over 30lbs, two fish over 40 and my current PB at 50lb! |
Greetings
